Reading, maybe more than a hobbie.

Reading was never a natural habit to me, it's been more like an acquired taste that I've gained in the last few years. I went from reading just the typical books that were given at school to really being interested in reading more complex novels by my own.
I'd say that my favourite book is "The Double" from Fiódor Dostoievsky, a russian writer who happens to be my favourite author so far. It tells the story about Mr. Goliadkin, and the  how and why he starts to feel insane, seeing a double of himself, but this double behaves in a total different way, being more like his alter ego. It talks about the constant fight of a person with his own consciousness, all this happening in the late nineteenth century Russia.
The last book I've read or that I'm currently reading is "Los Días Terrenales" from José Revueltas, a mexican writer and poet who is related to revolutionary processes of a middle twentieth century Mexico. I don't know for sure if I would recomend it, I haven't finished it yet, and it's been a maze to read so far. But I would encourage anyone to try to find this less known authors, and if they like them, to recomend them and make their work more massive, that way there and more and more people reading, and, in consequence, more people will encourage themselves to write what they feel necesary to say.
